On September 28, 2023, an introductory meeting of the Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of South Africa Roland Beridze with the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce was held under the organization of Marius Hines, the Chairman of the Georgia-South Africa Chamber of Commerce. The ambassador provided the present public with updated information on the economic potential of Georgia and the ongoing important regional infrastructure projects, where Georgia plays a key role.
During the meeting, the main directions of activity of the Georgia-South Africa Chamber of Commerce, the prospects of deepening trade and economic ties between the two countries, and the future plans of the embassy's activities in this direction were discussed.
It should be noted that the Georgia-South Africa Chamber of Commerce was established 11 years ago and already unites 53 representatives of South African and Georgian businesses.
