Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, Roland Beridze, presented the copies of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Malawi, Ms. Nancy Tembo.
The Ambassador of Georgia Roland Beridze and Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy Ilia Imnadze held their first working visit to Durban, the capital of the KwaZulu-Natal province and one of the largest seaports in the Republic South of Africa.
On October 15-16, 2024, the Ambassador of Georgia Roland Beridze and Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy Ilia Imnadze held their first working visit to Durban, the capital of the KwaZulu-Natal province and one of the largest seaports in the Republic South of Africa. Within the framework of the visit, the Ambassador of Georgia held meetings with the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal Province, Hon. Arthur Tamsanqa Ntuli, the Mayor of Durban, Cllr. Vusumuzi Cyril Xaba, the Chief Executive Officer of the KwaZulu-Natal Trade and Investment, Mr. Sihle Ngcamu, and with the senior executives of Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Port of Durban. During the consultations, Ambassador Roland Beridze drew particular attention to the successful reforms performed by Georgia in various fields and on the leading role of our country in regional and global connectivity. The conversation also touched upon the prospects of deepening the investment, trade-economic, tourism, cultural and people-to-people contacts between the Republic of South Africa and Georgia. According to the South African colleagues, the province of KwaZulu-Natal is actively interested in sharing the experience of successful Georgian reforms as well as developing relations with Georgia in the terms of trade, investment, tourism, science and culture.
